Diablo III Fan Art Contest

 Oh boy what a Blast this particular contest was!  Even my father loved this franchise so believe me, if he were here today he would've likely had about as much fun as I did, so needless to say, win or lose, this one is for you dad, and you are missed

 Given the certain rules to the competition, I am betting plenty I may have left a few guessing and questioning as to which of the character classes the hero on the ground is, and while some or many would understandably call it cheating, I actually left that up to the viewer.  I never liked alienating people, especially fans of something as awesome as Diablo, and not to mention all the ideas I came up with for every class during this occasion but as always you must consider time, I therefore resorted to painting a shadowed figure whom depending on the individual could be viewed as either man or woman, as well as either of the character classes.  It's up to you, who do you see?  As for the weapon glowing blue on their back, that is to symbolize how You, the player, whichever class you may choose, are the light of hope against evil in this deal.

  As for that enormous would-be boss you're looking at, he was Fun!  To begin with, believe it or not, this was not at all intentional, it just happened in the process which makes it both awesome as well as kind of scary and perhaps it's just me n I simply need help lol but as you view the image from a distance, do you see a glowing-eyed face glaring?  Now without a doubt, many of you have probably guessed between the two weapons, the wings, and even that subtle hint I left in the design and pattern of his horns(Just take a look as to how the Angel of Death is posing when you simply load the contest page itself ) as to who that is, but needless to say I also wanted to incorporate how I pictured the next stage in the Lord of Terror's evolution.  Is that indeed what will happen?  I certainly don't know.  Is that how he'd/they'd look?  I'm doubting it, and I'm plenty confident Blizzard has a far cooler and sensible concept in store for us, but nevertheless, first off it is tough to get any scarier then the Devil and Death joining as One, the second thing is, well, contests such as these are always a great deal about the imagination's enjoyment.  As always Deviant Art, and You, Blizzard!  And You, the Viewer!  Thank you, and Good Luck to Each of You!
