Halo 5 - the Promethean Hunter

It's been awhile since I've ever submitted anything, and I specifically chose this one for the fact it's been kicking my ass for what feels like an eternity, I just dont really know where to go with it, and thus I figured, "Why not see what others think?  Do they like it so far?  What suggestions or critiques could they have to offer?  Lets here them!"

To begin with, needless to say, this is but fan art for the upcoming sequel to the Halo video game series.  I Loved the Promethean Knights, I thought they n the way they were made was very cool and soon it hit me, "What would the Covenant's Hunters look like if they were remade in the same manner?"  and since the Hunters are comprised of a hive of alien worms encased in suits of armor, I came up with the idea that the "Composed" worms still yet operate together as a hive, but they also formulate a muscle look to their new form.  The somewhat human look to the design needless to say was intended to throw the would-be player off as to what they were really looking at: a Composed Hunter.  Where there should be a head is instead one of those super powerful beam turrets of Forerunner design, and the "Arms" are in fact Promethean Knights!  Whereas the Knights carried the Watchers, these things'd carry Knights in turn, and then some.  I had the idea that the "Promethean Hunters" could separate into their individual worms and become a flying, techno-organic swarm of death; flying bombs or something pretty much, while the Knights and the gun turret/headpiece would form and fold out to do their parts.

I really wanted to make a serious killing machine/s, nuff said  So what do you think?  I am baffled as to whether or not to continue with what I have so far mostly due to the legs in progress, and perhaps even the arms.  So by all means, tell me what you think, perhaps it can assist me in progressing with this and complete the bad boy!  In case anyone is wondering as to what the sketches are below the Hunter, those are weapon concepts I had in mind.  I thought how cool it'd be to technically wield a downed Knight's remains as a weapon so I doodled the Master Chief using one's skull as a, how should I say, either a whip(the spine being the whip) or a Needler Forerunner brand, where the ammo fires from the skull's mouth, except naturally it packs a greater punch then its Covenant version counterpart.  Also the idea was to have the ammo consist of the composed worms which comprise the Promethean Hunters, so you'd in effect be firing these guys
